- If you like to wear more revealing garments and want a more all over tan, a two-piece bathing costume is likely to be a better choice for you.

The bikini - pros:
- This design is without a doubt the coolest - literally. There's not much risk of overheating in a bikini, so if you are working out or swimming in a particularly hot environment, this might be the right bathing suit 2011!
- A bikini will give you the best tan as far as body exposure is concerned. If you want to turn the sun kissed glow up to the max this year, choose a two piece bathing costume.
- There are many different bikini styles available, from tankinis to more revealing varieties. It's really up to you how much skin you want to show.

The bikini - cons:
- You need to be pretty self-assured to wear a bikini - but they're really fun to wear once you've got the confidence!
- If you'll be very active, it can be a little better to purchase a one-piece suit, since there is a greater risk of garment slippage if you're wearing a bikini...
